The tournaments "Third Saturday – Djenovici-Montenegro” are suitable for players who want to achieve GM and IM norms or /and ELO rating points.

Semi-closed GM tournament is Swiss pairings tournament, 14 players (4 GM players and 10 players norm seekers). It is suitable for players who want to achieve GM and IM norms or /and ELO -rating points. The tournament lasts 9 days, 9 rounds, each day one game.

IM tournament is round robin tournament and has 10 players (3 IM players and 7 norm seekers), 9 rounds. It is suitable for players who want to achieve IM norm and ELO ratings

It will be also held FM tournament, suitable for the players who want to improve ELO ratings. FM tournament is also round robin tournament, but could be double round tournament if there are 6 or 5 players.

Chess tournaments "Third Saturday" are held on the third Saturday in the month (in Djenovici, Herceg Novi, in a Bay of Kotor, Montenegro)
Djenovici is a coastal village that is interesting in winter and summer. In February during the Mimosa festival and summer as a perfect family resort with sandy beaches surrounded by beautiful Mediterranean vegetation. Tourist boats from the Djenovici port sail to and from all parts of the Bay of Kotor.

The dates of Third Saturday tournaments in 2019/2020 tournaments’ season:

19-27 October 2019, 16-24 November 2019, 21-29 December 2019

18-26 January 2020, 15-23 February 2020, 21-29 March 2020, 18-26 April 2020, 16-24 May 2020

Twenty five tournaments, 6 GM (grandmasters tournaments, for GM and IM norms), 11 IM (international masters tournaments for IM norms) and 8 FIDE masters tournaments (for ELO rating), were held in Djenovici from October 2017 till May 2019! 

So, in total on “Third Saturday-Djenovici” tournaments, from October 2017 till May 2019, the players achieved 4 GM norms, 12 IM norms and 2 WIM norms (and 2 players won rating 2300+, needed for FM title ).
